Get Business Help with the Business Advisor Network
Business Advisor Network is a non-profit service established in 2006. We have a simple objective - to help the Managing Directors and Owners of small and medium sized businesses get access to advice, help and assistance that is available to help them run their enterprises more effectively.
We do this by introducing the Managing Directors and owners of these businesses to mature and highly experienced business advisors and providing direct access to as much free assistance we can access, like the
Virtual Advisor blog and forum. We are if you like 'matchmakers', bringing together those who may need business advice, support and assistance, with the people who can provide it.
The advisors are drawn from a very select and special group of experienced business people- all are accredited associates of the
Institute for Independent Business , CPA or ICAA. IIB accreditation is available only to mature business people who have significant experience usually at Managing Director or senior director level. They also undergo a rigorous accreditation process that includes an intensive residential training course. Ongoing accreditation is dependent on ongoing professional development and adherence to a strict code of professional conduct
We link business owners to IIB accredited advisors because we know all IIB Associates are suitably qualified and experienced to 'talk business' to business owner managers.
Clearly there are costs involved with providing support and advice to businesses of any size. Our advisors are all independent business people themselves, but getting those with the need together with those with the knowledge is almost invariably the biggest barrier preventing business owners taking advantage of the wealth of skills and assistance available.
Our sponsors are generally professional practices and other companies who understand that by indirectly offering a helping hand to their clients they can provide a significant benefit for those businesses. It's not just altruistic, call it 'enlightened self interest' if you like. Companies and organisations in this special category
become BANet sponsors. By making the gift of a voucher to one of their clients or associates for a free initial meeting with one of our advisors, these companies are giving a very special commercial gift that says 'we value our relationship and want to help you be even more successful'.
For our sponsors it's a positive and very cost effective message. To find out more about becoming a
